Hotels in the city centre are just 8 km / 5 miles south-east of Rotterdam Airport (RTM), being easy to reach by a range of airport transportation, including shuttles and public buses. The city regular features many festivals, with the Summer Carnival (Zomer Carnaval) attracting visitors from all over Europe and quickly filling any available accommodation.
